Slyce

...She envisions that as we integrate the giving and receiving of authentic
self-expression into our personal health practices, we become liberated to develop more attuned socially conscious bodies.  This work opens doors for the use of artistic dialogue as a means for healing on local, national, and global levels, giving us a greater range of options in relating to unequal power structures, media technology, conflict, and our rapidly changing culture.

This work comes to her through her training in ensemble performance, experience as a
safe-space youth theater facilitator,  her own Healer/Artist journey through a life-altering health crisis, and from such teacher/revolutionaries as Pearl Ubungen (choreography, cultural activism), Lee Worley, Annie Lanzillotto (IP, Action Writing) and Peggy Pettit (Self-Scripting) from her time at Naropa University, in Boulder CO.   Other influences include collaborations with writer/priestess Carly Davida Davis, and from growing up with an amazing mother Cathy Bargenquast PhD, Wise Woman, Aromatherapist and integrative care pioneer.
